To have a full knowledge on differences in procedures of using disposable and multiple-use bags, please pay attention to the following examples:

1. Procedure of using disposable bag:
a. We start work with a new sterile bag.
b. After finishing work we throw away the bag.
2. Procedure of using multiple-use bag:
a. We start work with a pasteurized bag.
b. After finishing work we wash the bag with the use of suitable detergent.
c. After washing and removing remains of the used mass we sterilize/pasteurize the bag in an autoclave(device for cooking under pressure at temperature of about 121°C guaranteeing destruction of most microbes).
d. we dry the bag in a drier, in a specially assigned place on a special hanger.

Washing the bag in running water guarantees the bag’s infection with bacteria from air and water, which growth proceeds very dynamically. Boiling the bag at temperature of about 100°C guarantees removal of only part of microbes. The rest develops on the bag just like on nutrient medium. The whole infects the mass and in a ready product operation of refrigerating chain and expiry date determine the condition in which the product will be consumed by consumer.  


Simulation of costs:
With cost of multiple-use bag - 15 PLN and minimum cost of single washing and pasteurization(cost of work,  detergent, shock absorption of device and energy) at the level of  1,90 PLN without autoclave (work for 10 minutes - 1,60 PLN, detergent - 0,10PLN, energy - 0,20 PLN) or 3,40 PLN with autoclave (work for 10 minutes - 1,60 PLN, detergent - 0,10 PLN, energy - 0,30 PLN, shock absorption - 1,40 PLN) in comparison with retail price Kee-seal ULTRA: 21 72 pieces - 51 PLN it results that after 20 days the usage cost is identical like in case of the bag which is washed and boiled at the temperature of  100°C or after 12 days of washed and sterilized in autoclave. So after 72 days, assuming the usage of one bag Kee-seal ULTRA per day or usage of one multiple-use bag, the cost of using disposable bag will be 0,71 PLN per day (51PLN: 72 pieces), and the cost of multiple-use bag will be 2,10 PLN per day ([15 PLN + 72 x 1,90PLN] : 72 days) in case of boiled bag and 3,60 PLN per day([15 PLN + 72 x 3,40PLN] : 72 days) in case of pasteurized bag.  

With such simulation, so with the same costs we can use from  
 3 to 5 disposable bags instead of one multiple-use bag.  

Using multiple-use bag we bear higher costs and we are exposed to consequences of not using hygienic procedures.
